Ok Lets Skip 3 Years..Work on Dr. Dres Follow Up to album 'Detox' Begins..However Dre Decides To Halt the recording of that album to focus on producing for other artists...New Release Date is set to Fall 2005...Skip Two Years Past The Initial Release date of 2005 lol..Cuz its Now 2007....Dre Says he Has Completed 8 POTENTIAL Tracks for the Album O_o..........NOW JUMP TO JUNE 2008. Snoop Dogg Claims Detox Album Is Complete and that Dre is Looking For The Right Tracks to place on the album..Sigh AND I CAN GO ON AND ON AND ON.....the year is now 2010..And what do we have 11 years later?? Soooooo where am i going with all this information?? Basically after the Success of this album..Lauryn Never Released the follow up album :(...(she released an unplugged album that was poorly received by critics)My Question is Why????then i thought to myself..Was she really tired of the WAY THE INDUSTRY WAS BEING RUN as she so often cited..want to know what i think?? Honestly i think she was afraid to release a follow up..Lets face it..Even Michael Jackson had a Sales decline after the  HUGE success of Thriller.However as an artist should we be afraid to follow up on our successes?? and risk damaging our 'Legacy'..Or Just have that One Perfect Album and never release anything ever again so youre always remembered Fondly??
